1. Purpose
These terms govern vehicle rentals offered by AzurDrive (see the legal notice) via https://azurdrive.eu.
2. Driver
Minimum age 25, valid driving licence held for at least 3 years, ID card or passport. Any additional driver must meet the same conditions and be declared at booking.
3. Booking and payment
A booking request becomes binding once confirmed by AzurDrive. No payment is requested before this confirmation; the rental price is then paid as stated in the confirmation (bank card).
4. Security deposit
A security deposit of €800 is taken at key handover. It is returned after the vehicle is returned and its condition and fuel level have been checked; amounts owed under the rental (missing fuel, damage up to the excess, fines, tolls) may be deducted from it.
5. Cancellation
Free cancellation up to 7 days before the start of the rental; after that, 50% of the rental price is due. Each vehicle’s terms are shown on its page and during booking.
6. Handover and return
The vehicle is handed over in Nice or delivered to the agreed address (home, hotel, Nice Côte d’Azur Airport), every day from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. A condition report with photos is made at pick-up and return. Fuel: the vehicle is returned with the same fuel level as at pick-up; otherwise the missing fuel is charged. Mileage: as stated in the booking confirmation.
7. Insurance and excess
All vehicles are insured. In the event of damage, an excess of €750 is payable by the renter. Damage resulting from prohibited use (section 8) or breaches of the Highway Code is not covered.
8. Use of the vehicle
Prohibited: subletting, racing, paid passenger transport, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Driving is allowed in France and Monaco; any other country, including Italy, only with AzurDrive’s prior written consent. Fines and tolls during the rental are payable by the renter.
9. Late return
Any delay must be reported as soon as possible on +33 7 80 07 38 96. An unagreed late return may be charged at the current daily rate.
